Yak CHEW - Classic
The Yak Chews are made in the Himalayas mountains. Himalaya Yak bars are produced with the milk of the Yak - also known as Tibetan OS; An animal similar to a large bull, but one with a thicker and longer hair. On the Himalayas highlands, yak cattle graze on open, unpandied grasslands full of herbs. They do not receive hormones, antibiotics or other chemicals. Yak milk cannot be compared with our cow's milk. Yak milk has a particularly high nutritional value, is lactose -free and contains more minerals and four times more Probitoica compared to our cow's milk. Yak milk is rich in proteins, calcium, zinc, sodium, biotin, magnesium and vitamins A, B1, B12, C, D, E and K.
This consists of a mix of skimmed milk from the yak cow. A little bit of lime juice and salt is added to have the milk hardened that is subsequently compressed in blocks and traditionally smoked for 28 days.
Hence their great unique taste.
Is salt then not harmful? Well, there is less 0.1% salt in it and is only used in the beginning to help harden. So no problemo.
What about lactose intolerance?
Not all dogs are intolerant and if your capon is: there is virtually no lactose in it as the cream and the meadow in the process have been removed.
